The latest mission news

Our April 2023 newsletter talked about some of the challenges we're facing, including the dangerous roads and recent minor accidents. Unfortunately, we've had to make the tough decision to cease sawmill operations due to a lack of financial progress after a major logging company shut down its operations in Liberia.

But don't worry, we're not giving up! We're exploring new income-generating possibilities, like a digital carving machine. We're also continuing our mission to serve the community by building two houses for pastors, one of whom even gave up his own cement blocks to build a school addition. However, we've identified several schools that are in need of repairs, including a new roof, well, bathroom, and fence.

On a positive note, we're excited to announce that we're sending a shipment of 27-gallon tubs filled with food, Bibles, and shoes to our partners in Liberia. We're grateful for your continued support and look forward to sharing more updates with you soon

Over the years we have been going through some struggles with how to benefit from our Woodmizers as well as our Mobile Dimension sawmills since our prior wood supplier could no longer supply us. So many of our families rely on the sawmills for steady jobs and income, so this lack of work created a void. We made contact with Abigail, the head and owner of Aqueba Groups of Companies. She has been sawing and shipping only Ekki timber. She asked us to do business with her company to supply our sawmills to saw on a profit-sharing basis. This was a big step to have a new partnership so that our people can be working and the sawmills can provide value to the local community again. We went and built a shelter for living quarters as well as a warehouse for the sawmills
